I have been working on my own personal control panel for a while, integrating all sorts of random API, stats, and stuff – like a proper NOC except for home.

One of the latest additions is the financial module, with Crypto Currency in it. Just got the status up and now the API provider has chosen to move away from the free API (I’m not even using that much!). Cryptocompare.com I know is a bit too generous with the 100k API calls – I only need about ~4k calls (regular 5 min cron updates + dev) for status display. Oh well, off to find a new API provider – Coinmonks might be my next point of call. The API I coded up for cryptocompare would likely be put up on github somewhere.
