Silly stupid scenario where I’m peeling one webserver/mail server offline to be upgraded (reinstalled really). However peeling the front end reverse proxy ended up causing a lot of random “000” nginx errors.

I’ve rebooted firewalls, VMs, triple checked configs, nothing would show up. Eventually I took a punt at the ‘not so latest’ version of nginx.. and went back to 1.18, and I think that solved it!

So if you’re getting mystery “000” errors randomly (it’s not all the time), then roll back to 1.18 (from 1.19)

Also instated a “status.faerie.cx” off Freshstatus.io (*PLUG*)

Sites looks migrated. Mail will happen tomorrow.
