New lease on life?

It’s been about 2 months now that I’ve left my last job. While it was great to get a headspace to be me again, it’s also shown me that I could live off my wits mostly. Saving money here, there, and relying on a lot of life hacks to get by.

  • Electric Vehicle – No fuel still, all done via free EV chargers around town
  • Free drinks – pokies are mandated to offer drinks to patrons. Yeah, I often put a few coins in (and on good days a lot more), but always walk away when winning.
  • Gambling can really be a good source of income – or rather, I think it’s selective betting is what I prefer to call it. Never gamble on things that the house knows the odds for (eg. pokies). Only bet on things they can’t control (eg. horses, dogs, soccer, etc). And look into Lay Betting. Bet high, earn little but almost guaranteed.
  • Mental health – wow, I was so strung up I had no idea how I was able to relax. Now I’ve just gone the opposite way, and chilled out. Only last 2 days have I returned to actually be enthusiastic about working my tech side again. Updating a lot of stuff
  • Spiritual/Religious life – amazing thing to keep the brain still here and not wandering to dark thoughts.
  • Loss of another life – friend had left this realm last week. Another possible victim of the ‘system’ 🙁 I won’t comment further
  • Loss of another dear friend – Supposedly something I said/did over 2 weeks ago. Still weighs slightly on my head what did I do? Oh well, everyone has the right to choose to sever ties, though I would have preferred the honesty of telling me why. Integrity and all.
  • Project:Olympus is coming down nicely.
  • Restarting TryHackMe
  • Looking at Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG) courses for ‘simple’ jobs that doesn’t require projects/taking home stuff.
  • Relooking at coding some cryptocurrency stuff (blockchain parsing, and tracking)
